Bassett® Furniture Customizable Maris Recliner

The Maris Recliner: a sleek vintage-modern styled recliner with lightly shaped wood arms. With tucked-away reclining, Maris fits stylishly into the sleek living room or reading nook while keeping comfort close at hand.

Bassett® Furniture Customizable Thompson Tall Back Recliner

Choose from our many Bassett fabrics and in-store options like nailhead trim and leg finish to more completely refine and complement your décor. The semi-attached back and loose seat cushion are a convenient and comfortable solution for seating in your living room, bedroom, or reading nook. Also available as glider or recliner.

Country of Origin: Artisan crafted in the USA with American and imported materials

Fabric - Vacuum this piece regularly with an upholstery attachment (not a brush), this reduces abrasion and wear. For spills, always keep the cushion cover on to clean – then blot, don’t rub, with a dry absorbent white cloth. The fabric you choose has a specific cleaning code for spill treatment. For dirt and dry spills, brush off and vacuum before particulates become embedded in fabric fibers. Limit fading with window treatments if this is going to be near a window. Heating and air outlets can also fade fabrics, as well as damage the fibers over an extended time. Some fabrics may occasionally show signs of pilling with heavy traffic. This does not affect the integrity of the fabric and can be limited with frequent removal of dust and lint, which can come from clothing and throws. To remove any pills, we recommend using a fabric shaving / lint removing tool.

Cushion Care - Flip and fluff seat cushions and back cushions every 3 months ensuring even wear and extending the life of the piece. Read more here. If you have kids or pets who love this piece too – flip and fluff more frequently for longest cushion life. Back cushion inserts are stitched horizontally into separate sections to minimize sagging, making it easier to maintain the look with regular fluffing. Cushions and pillows have an expected “break-in” period, like shoes, and it usually takes 30 - 60 days (depending on use) for your cushions to reach their final firmness.

Bassett® Furniture Customizable Thompson Leather Recliner

This is a chair, either solo or in a pair, that can be at home in your living room, your bedroom, and even your home office. Choose from our many fine Bassett leathers to upholster this recliner, with its semi-attached back and loose seat cushion. Visit a Bassett store for even more options, like nailhead trim, to personalize your chair even further. Also available as an accent chair or recliner.

Leather - Wipe leather with a soft, white cloth slightly dampened with water (distilled if you have hard water) to clean. Avoid polishes, oils, ammonia, cleaning fluids, solvents or detergents as these can damage your leather. Minimize fading: use window treatments to minimize the effects of sunlight that can lead to your leather discoloring. Heating and air outlets can also fade leathers.

Cushion Care - Rotate and fluff cushions and pillows on this piece every 3 months - this ensures cushions wear evenly and last as long as possible. If you have kids or pets who love this piece too – rotate and fluff more frequently for longest cushion life. Back pillow inserts are stitched horizontally into separate sections to minimize sagging, making it easier to maintain the look with regular fluffing. Cushions have an expected “break-in” period, like shoes, and it usually takes 30 - 60 days (depending on use) for your cushions to reach their final firmness.
